Looking to transition from pistol iron sights to red dot sights? The Red Dot Sight (RDS) Pistol course is designed to help you make the switch. This course is perfect for experienced pistol shooters who want to take their skills to the next level and learn how to use RDS more efficiently and effectively.
Course Purposes: This course aims to equip capable pistol shooters with the knowledge and skills to use the RDS efficiently and effectively. The classroom portion will cover proper mounting techniques, while the remaining time on the range will be spent learning techniques that will enable the shooter to make the most of their RDS.
Weapon and Ammunition: Participants are required to bring any semiautomatic pistol with an RDS installed. Romulus Mihu can provide a limited number of pistols with RDS installed, but prior booking and full course payment is required. Ammunition: 9 mm with a minimum of 400 rounds.
Method of teaching: The course will be conducted in a classroom setting and on the range. Students will have the opportunity to properly mount and adjust their RDS under the guidance of experienced instructors.
Prerequisites: Participants must have a solid grasp of the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship and safe gun handling skills. Prior completion of a Tactical or Dynamic Pistol course is recommended.
