Course Purpose:

The Firearms Instructor – Pistol & Carbine course aims to achieve two primary goals.

The first one for those students who demonstrate exceptional skills and meet all the necessary requirements will have the opportunity to join Romulus Mihu – Train/Assist/Consult.

The secondary goal is to familiarise participants with the methodology and concepts of training at Romulus Mihu-Train/Assist/Consult.

This presents a chance for instructors already active in various sectors to enhance their qualifications by grasping the principles of Romulus Mihu – Train/Assist/Consult, an organisation with more than two decades of methodological and instructional expertise in training military, police, and security personnel

Weapons & Ammunition:

WEAPONS:

GLOCK 19/17 – AMMUNITION: 9mm – 500 rds.

AR15 / AKM – AMMUNITION: 223R/7.62 – 500 rds.

Methods of teaching:

This Course will be taught using theoretical and practical exercises. The lectures will be inside classroom and in the shooting range. 

Skill Pre-requisites:

The candidates MUST possess prior experience with the Firearms.

The Firearms Instructor – Pistol & Carbine course training is exclusively designed for individuals in law enforcement, government security contractors, or former Romulus Mihu -Train/Assist/Consult graduates. Completion of Military/Police, Close Protection Operative, PMC, DDM, or CQB courses is required.

GEAR: Sturdy / Tactical Belt, tactical or combat clothing and footwear (UF PRO, 5.11, Blackhawk, Helikon…), optional ballistic plate carrier or vest with pouches for AR15/AK47 magazines, helmet or tactical hat, eye protection (shooting goggles), active ear protection, tactical gloves and optional knee pads.

Clothing appropriate for climate and conditions.

• Adult Learning Concepts.
• Individual Skills Assessment.
• Basic & Advanced Firearms techniques.
• Selection of teaching tools, facilities and equipment.
• The use of PowerPoint presentation in training.
• Selection of exercises/drills to the group level/level of student.
• Teaching concepts.
• Advanced weapon drills – Pistol & Carbine.
• Conclusion of class & Farewell.
