Course Purpose: This accelerated 3-day shooting class is designed to help students master critical weapon manipulations and positional shooting in and around vehicles. By the end of the course, you will have a solid understanding of where and when you are at risk of ricochets, what makes good cover, and how to use the common features of automobiles to your advantage.
Weapons and Ammunition: You’ll be using a GLOCK 19/17 with 9 mm ammunition or 5.56 mm or 7.62 mm ammunition, totaling 300 rounds. To attend, candidates must have finished Combined Firearms Course, Dynamic Pistol, or CQB Course.
Skill and Equipment Prerequisites: To attend this course, you must have tactical or combat clothing and footwear, sturdy/tactical belt, tactical gloves, knee pads, and shooting goggles. You must also have your own active ear protection and clothing appropriate for climate and conditions.
Training Program: During the course, you’ll learn a variety of skills, including shooting through auto glass, two/four person tactics, and vehicle-specific shooting positions. You’ll also engage in live ballistic demos and drills that incorporate critical weapon employment while engaging threats in, around, from, over, and under vehicles.
The Law Enforcement or Military personnel can attend this training without proof of previous training, and they receive a 15% discount.
